 FOOD BASKETS

Support and empower the community

All food supplies are bought from local, refugee-owned shops so that we can extend our reach and benefit the wider refugee community as much as possible.

Geographical

reach

For the families located in cities where our on-ground-team is not able to distribute the food packages personally, essential supplies are ordered online to be delivered directly to their doorsteps.

Responding to families'

needs

The package contains all the necessary basic items to feed a family for one to two weeks. We stay in close contact with the families to receive feedback on how much products are needed, both to respect cultural practices and minimize food waste.

Each month we get a list of families in need from trusted contacts and organizations within the community. We ask them to priotize new beneficiary families in urgent need. We then coordinate with a local, refugee-owned market and assign a date for distribution that can work for everyone.
