Each month we hear about families with urgent needs or emergencies. Although we usually prefer to dedicate most of our monthly budget to go into buying basic materials for families, we still save a small portion of our budget for emergency situations such as rent payments, healthcare costs, or unpaid bills to stop a family from getting evicted or staying without gas or water. Since only 10% of our budget is dedicated to this cause we try to continue and raise funds for additional emergencies.
